Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in January?

We are working with a warm, welcoming and supportive primary school who are looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team within a specialist nurture group classroom.

The class consists of approximately 8-10 pupils in Years 1-3, with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and pupils who are pre-verbal or non-verbal.

You will be joining a fantastic team of three Teaching Assistants who work closely together to support the children's individual learning, communication, social development and emotional needs.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a primary school or specialist setting.
• Experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD.
• An understanding of the needs of pre-verbal and non-verbal children.
• A patient, nurturing and understanding approach.
• Someone enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about working with children.
• A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
• The ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils within a small nurture group classroom.
• Working alongside a team of three Teaching Assistants and the class teacher.
• Supporting children's learning, communication and personal development.
• Providing tailored support to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Encouraging engagement, independence and positive social interactions.
• Helping to create a safe, calm and nurturing learning environment.

• £110-£115 per day PAYE.
