Technical Sales Engineer

South / South East England | £40,000-£55,000 + Fully Expensed Company Car

My client, a specialist engineering business is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer / Manager to help drive its continued growth across the construction and engineering sectors.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys more than simply selling a product. You'll be involved from the initial client conversation and technical solution through to project delivery, building relationships, developing opportunities and helping customers solve complex engineering challenges.

Whether your experience is in acoustic products, noise control, louvres or a related engineering sector, your transferable knowledge could be exactly what this business needs.

• £40,000-£55,000 salary, depending on experience and what you can bring

• Fully expensed company car - with a choice of vehicle

• Remote working available, with attendance at the Reading office at least once a week

• Developing and managing sales opportunities across construction and engineering

• Selling engineered noise control and louvre solutions

• Building relationships with clients, contractors and consultants

• Managing projects from initial enquiry and technical design through to delivery

• Supporting the design and specification of solutions using acoustic calculations

• Working with products such as duct attenuators, acoustic and architectural louvres, screens, enclosures and acoustic doors

• Identifying new business opportunities and helping strengthen the company's market presence

• Experience in technical sales within noise control, acoustic products, louvres or a related engineering sector

• A background in project managing work you've sold, or experience that demonstrates you can manage projects through to completion

• Strong technical understanding and the ability to develop engineered solutions

• Knowledge of acoustic calculations, BS 4142 or relevant ISO standards would be advantageous

• AutoCAD experience would be beneficial

• MIOA or AMIOA membership would be an advantage
