Location: Crewe
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Plus: 1 in every 4/5 Saturdays, with a day off in lieu during the week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join their busy and fast-paced distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a warehouse environment and is passionate about driving performance, productivity, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation during the afternoon shift.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives and team leaders.
- Ensure all operational KPIs relating to productivity, accuracy, quality, and service levels are achieved.
- Drive high standards of health and safety compliance throughout the warehouse.
- Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Conduct performance reviews, return-to-work interviews, and support employee development.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, stock discrepancies, and process inefficiencies.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Shift Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and hands-on management style with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Competitive salary of £33,000 - £36,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday working pattern with a stable afternoon shift.
- Only 1 Saturday in every 4/5 weeks, with a day off in lieu during the week.
