Responsibilities

Managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple dynamic business sectors.

Preparing and reviewing complex financial statements and corporation tax returns.

Coordinating bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll services seamlessly with internal team members.

Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships while providing proactive commercial advice.

Identifying client business needs and offering high-value advisory services and recommendations.

Ensuring absolute compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory reporting frameworks, and filing deadlines.

Liaising directly with HMRC and other external professional bodies on behalf of clients.
As a Client Account Manager you will:

Take full ownership of your client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for all accounting and advisory queries.

Supervise, support, and mentor junior members of staff, reviewing their work to maintain exceptional quality standards.

Leverage cloud accounting platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage to streamline financial workflows.

Collaborate with senior leadership on practice growth initiatives and business development opportunities.

Champion internal well-being and team collaboration initiatives across the Chelmsford office.
