Warehouse Operative

My client have taken on a lot of new clients so are now seeking an additional warehouse operative to assist in the efficient running of all warehouse functions. Daily Responsibilities Receiving and booking in all deliveries into the warehouse. Preparing goods to be sent to the factory and checking paperwork and quantities are correct. Movement of goods to and from the factory. Dispatching of all orders to the customer with efficient checking and dispatch of labels and delivery notes. Dealing with all courier–related queries and managing the courier database and stock in the warehouse. Regular stock takes where needed Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and adheres to Health and Safety conditions at all times Managing the stock on shelves Managing and checking of sold items in the sold area Assisting in the returns of goods to suppliers Assisting in quality checks prior to despatch. Picking and packing orders. Attributes Team player Must have a hands–on approach Can do attitude Friendly disposition Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency a must Ability to prioritise workload Be able to work on own initiative. Skills Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel Goods in experience Import and Export Experience (not essential) Previous experience in a similar role
