CNC Turner

Due to our Continued Success and an ever–increasing order book, we are looking to recruit, immediately an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to join our current team. All applicants must be time served and should possess minimum GCSE and City and Guilds/ONC qualifications. We are looking for a CNC Machinist with minimum 3 years experience within an engineering/manufacturing background who has a proven record of programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery. Preferably have experience with Haas & Citizen controls but not necessary. Main Duties: Program, prove out and set and operate the CNC Turning Machines. Able to communicate professionally, have good housekeeping and H & S conscious Able to read/interpret engineering drawings Work to deadlines/priorities and the production plan, unsupervised and on own initiative, make improvement suggestions, push to be better every day. Responsible for 1st off and sample inspection as well as inline checks of production runs against route cards and relevant drawings to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Job Type: Full–time Pay: From GBP37,440 per year – GBP43,700 dependent on experience and qualifications plus regular overtime in range GBP3,000 to GBP10,000 per year Benefits: 1.5x and 2.0x overtime available.
