Multi-Skilled Engineer

Multi-Skilled Engineer Food Manufacturing - NG34 Lincolnshire 58,000 4 on 4 off Days / Nights We're recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a large-scale site in Lincolnshire, easily commutable from Sleaford, Lincoln, Metheringham, North Hykeham and Grantham, part of a major, established food group with operations across the UK and Europe. It's a busy, high-output environment where engineering has a direct impact on production performance. The equipment is varied, the pace is real, and when something goes down, you'll be expected to find the fault and get it moving again. This isn't a role for someone who wants every problem neatly diagnosed before it reaches them. You'll be hands-on across production equipment, supporting the wider engineering team to reduce downtime, improve reliability and stop repeat failures. What the role involves Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and breakdown responsePlanned preventative maintenance and work ordersWorking across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFault finding on PLC and inverter-controlled equipmentSupporting production start-up and equipment availabilitySafe isolation, risk assessment and safe systems of workRoot cause analysis and repeat failure reductionSupporting Lean, Asset Care and continuous improvementWorking closely with Production to resolve issues quicklyAccurate recording of maintenance activity through the site's CMMSWhat's on offer 58,000, permanent, with an established and financially secure manufacturing business.
