What will your day involve? As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support children individually and in small groups. * Help pupils take part in lessons and understand learning activities. * Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour. * Prepare resources and help create an engaging classroom. * ‍ Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team. * Help maintain a safe, inclusive environment where children feel supported. You could be a great fit if you have… Experience supporting children in a school, nursery or another relevant setting. A patient, encouraging approach and a willingness to get involved. Good communication skills and the ability to work with others. A commitment to safeguarding and children’s wellbeing. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification is desirable.
