Field Sales Executive - Waste Management £28,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £40,000) Company car provided About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Field Sales Executive to join a growing, family-run waste management business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, generating new business, and building long-term client relationships. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing your territory, and helping drive continued business growth. The role is primarily field-based, covering Chesterfield and the surrounding areas, with occasional attendance at the office for sales meetings and team updates. Key Responsibilities * Generate new business through cold calling, canvassing and door-to-door prospecting. * Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. * Identify and secure new commercial customers. * Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. * Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. * Act as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams. * Maintain accurate records using the company's CRM system. * Support wider sales initiatives and business development activities. About You We're looking for a confident and resilient sales professional who thrives on winning new business and achieving results. Essential Requirements * Minimum of 2 years' field sales experience. * Proven experience generating new business. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills. * Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face prospecting. * Self-motivated, target-driven and ambitious. * Confident working independently and managing your own territory. * Comfortable working outdoors and handling rejection positively. * Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Skills * Experience within waste management, recycling or environmental services. * Experience using CRM systems. * Social media and digital prospecting experience.
