Behaviour Mentor – South East London – September Start – Full Time – 110– 130 per day We are currently recruiting for a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school based in South East London for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The school is looking for a strong role model who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour, and help pupils re–engage with education. The role would suit someone with experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, residential support, SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision settings. The Role: Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, challenging behaviour, and emotional regulation needsWorking 1:1 and in small groups to improve confidence, engagement, and behaviourHelping students stay focused and involved in lessonsSupporting behaviour management using calm and consistent strategiesBuilding strong relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesSupporting pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activitiesWorking alongside teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionalsThe Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience supporting young people with behaviour or SEMH needsBe confident, calm, and resilient in challenging situationsHave strong communication and relationship–building skillsBe able to act as a positive role modelHave a genuine passion for helping vulnerable pupils succeedBe reliable, proactive, and able to use their own initiativeThe Role Offers: 100– 117 per dayFull–time long–term roleSeptember startSupportive school environmentExcellent experience for aspiring teachers, youth workers, or education professionalsOpportunity for permanent placementIf you are interested in this Behaviour Mentor role in South East London, please apply with your updated CV today.
