The Role
Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Walking Floor Driver to support one of our established clients.
This role is specifically suited to drivers with strong experience in bulk tipping and operating walking floor trailers.
Duties will include:
Operating Class 1 C+E vehicles with walking floor trailers
Completing bulk tipping and unloading operations
Safely operating walking floor equipment
Completing deliveries and collections to customer and commercial sites
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Following all site and road safety procedures
Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
Providing a reliable and professional service
Requirements
Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience in bulk tipping using a walking floor trailer – essential
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Strong understanding of walking floor trailer operation
Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
Please note: Previous walking floor and bulk tipping experience is essential. This is not a training position.
Pay & Benefits
£16.50 – £20.00 per hour
Weekly PAYE payments
