Door Assembler

Wolverhampton. Temporary-Permanent.

£14 per hour

Owen Payne are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Wolverhampton, WV10. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous wood assembly experience who are looking for a long-term role within an established company. This role will be a 12 week temp to perm position for the successful candidate.

** Please note that the site is not accessible via public transport. Applicants must therefore have their own transport.**

Key Duties:

• Assembly of wooden doors to specification
• Bench work in a production environment
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Wood assembly and fitting of components
• Manual handling of materials and finished products
• Heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in wood assembly or joinery/carpentry
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy work
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Pay Rate:

• £14.00 per hour
