Primary Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Reception class at a welcoming and growing primary school in Tamworth. This full-time Primary Teacher role offers maternity cover and would suit a creative Primary Teacher who is passionate about giving children the best start to their education.

The school is seeking a reflective, creative and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to work on a full-time basis, providing maternity cover from January 2027 until July 2027.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Plan and assess pupils’ learning in line with the EYFS framework and the school’s policies.

• Deliver engaging, creative and inspiring lessons that support early development and pupil progress.

• Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant and other class teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

This is a full-time maternity cover position, with the start date, working hours and contract end date to be confirmed.

• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, with high expectations for every child.

• A strong reference from a recent school placement or employer.
