About the role
Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) - Wendover
📍 Location: Wendover
📅 Start Date: W/C 23rd November
📅 Duration: Until October 2027

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) to join a major long-term infrastructure project in Wendover.
Duties:
- Planning, organising, and overseeing all lifting operations on site
- Producing and reviewing lift plans and risk assessments
- Ensuring lifting activities comply with LOLER, BS7121, and site procedures
- Coordinating with crane operators, Slingers, supervisors, and site management
- Ensuring the safe selection and use of lifting equipment
- Monitoring lifting operations to maintain the highest safety standards
- Providing technical guidance and support to lifting teams
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Appointed Person (A61) qualification
- Proven experience managing lifting operations on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of LOLER and BS7121 regulations
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy project environment
- EKFB Induction Preferred
- Reliable and able to commit to a long-term project
