SAP LoTo Coordinator

Astute’s Power Team is partnering with a leading business in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a SAP LoTo Coordinator for a plant in Abu Dhabi.

This 6-month contract role is on site full time and offers a competitive day rate.

Responsibilities of the SAP LoTo Coordinator:

• Lead the Log-out / Tag-out office and coordinate all permit to safe work on the installation.
• Prepare and manage safety documents (Safe systems of work) applicable to electrical activities on site. This shall include Switching schedules and Permit system.
• Keep records of all permits, conduct site inspections, and take the lead regarding the safe isolation of equipment.
• Prepare and conduct training of personnel onsite in view of Authorization to conduct specific activities under the Electrical and Mechanical safety rules.
• Endorse the role of SAP (Senior Authorized Person) for LV systems.
• Permanent coordination with Commissioning Engineers to ensure all works is conducted safely.
• Ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
• Ensure that adequate precautions are taken to provide safety from the system whilst construction / commissioning work is carried out
• Responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised.
• Candidates must hold experience as LoTo Coordinator in Industrial plants, essentially Energy from Waste.
• Must have experience as Site Electrical Supervisor with an Electrical degree.
• Must be familiar with Mechanical Safety rules with mechanically experience also.
