People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative to join our well-established client based in Worcester, working within a specialist clinical waste operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering a £28,000 annual salary, a 4-on-4-off rotating shift pattern, ongoing work, full training and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

£28,000 Per Annum | 4 On 4 Off | Day & Night Shifts | Weekly Pay | Full Training | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Waste Operative, Clinical Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, General Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Warehouse Operative or Production Operative.

Important: This role involves the handling and processing of medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste. Candidates must be comfortable working within this environment and following strict safety procedures.

Shifts

• 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern
• Day shift: 06:00 – 18:30
• Night shift: 18:00 – 06:30

Rates of Pay

• £28,000 per annum
• Weekly pay
• Overtime opportunities available

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Waste Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Sorting medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste for processing
• Loading and moving recycling bins safely around the site
• Processing different waste types in line with company procedures
• Organising waste areas and ensuring bins are positioned correctly
• Manually sorting and handling waste materials
• Wearing and using the PPE provided on site correctly at all times
• Completing additional operational duties as required

• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport due to the site location
