Maintenance Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor for their site in Derby.

Reporting into the Production Director, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the maintenance department as well providing hands on support to the team.

This is a key role for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and shaping a more proactive approach to maintenance.

• Oversee planning and delivery of all maintenance and engineering activities
• Drive a shift towards a proactive maintenance culture
• Manage employee relations, absence, holidays and resource planning
• Identify training needs and support development across the team
• Manage documentation including risk assessments and method statements
• Hands on support with breakdowns when required

• Level 3 or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
• Background ideally within a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment
• Strong track record of improving maintenance performance and reducing downtime
• Able to analyse problems logically and deliver practical solutions
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Health and Safety qualification is desirable
