A fast-growing SaaS business are building advanced, autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows to automate business workflows.

They are looking for a hands-on, AI Agent Developer on a contract basis to build and deploy agentic features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build Agentic Workflows: Architect, build, and optimize multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, and tool-use loops using modern orchestration frameworks
• Production LLM Integration: Integrate large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, open-source models) with robust error handling, guardrails, and deterministic fallback logic
• Retrieval & Memory Infrastructure: Build and fine-tune advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, vector search strategies, and short/long-term agent memory management
• Performance & Evaluation: Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure agent success rates, minimize latency, and optimize token costs at scale

Technical Requirements

• Languages: Expert-level Python programming
• Agent Frameworks: Hands-on commercial experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom agent loops
• LLM Tooling & APIs: Extensive experience with function calling, structured outputs, JSON mode, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
• Data & Vector Stores: Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Engineering Best Practices: Strong background in building production-grade SaaS applications, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
