Ready to Take Charge of a Busy Warehouse Operation?We're recruiting on behalf of a thriving logistics business that is looking for a driven and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to help keep their operation running at peak performance. If you enjoy leading from the front, developing teams and making a real impact on daily warehouse success, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Working within a fast-moving 3PL environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring productivity, service levels and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading and inspiring warehouse operatives to achieve daily operational targets.
- Coordinating warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Monitoring performance, productivity and KPIs, taking action where required.
- Supporting stock accuracy, operational compliance and process improvements.
- Ensuring all warehouse paperwork and system updates are completed correctly.
- Championing a strong Health & Safety culture across the site.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
- Supporting employee development, coaching and performance management.
- Monitoring warehouse equipment and reporting maintenance requirements.
- Stepping into the Warehouse Manager's role when needed.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a warehouse setting.
- Essential experience working within a 3PL logistics operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and distribution.
- Experience managing KPIs, productivity targets and service levels.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Organised, hands-on and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety and operational best practice.
Competitive salary of £32,500
