About the role
Are you an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with a passion for building scalable, high-performing, enterprise-grade solutions? We’re looking for a talented developer to join us on a 12-month contract and play a key role in the ongoing development and evolution of our Salesforce platform.
Working closely with our Salesforce Technical Lead and Lead Architect, you’ll design, develop, customise and enhance Salesforce solutions across the platform, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. You’ll integrate Salesforce with a range of third-party SaaS applications and internal on-premise systems, delivering innovative CRM capabilities that create real value for our customers.
This is a hands-on development role where you’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing platform optimisation. You’ll combine project delivery with platform support, contributing to the performance, stability and continuous improvement of our Salesforce estate.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, triggers and batch classes.
-
Develop, customise and enhance Salesforce cloud solutions, particularly across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
-
Build and maintain solutions using Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) and OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
-
Design, develop and maintain enterprise integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Streaming API, Change Data Capture (CDC) and other modern integration patterns.
-
Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and scalable Salesforce solutions.
-
Refactor complex codebase architectures, improve code quality and optimise Salesforce platform performance and Governor Limits.
-
Manage source control, deployments and release pipelines using Azure DevOps.
-
Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve incidents and manage BAU requests as part of the Salesforce Run and Operations team.
-
Produce technical documentation, conduct peer reviews and champion Salesforce development best practices.
-
Collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
Essential Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring at least five years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer, with strong hands-on expertise in complex Salesforce development, customisation, cloud solutions and enterprise integrations.
You’ll demonstrate:
