Junior Accounts Assistant - Customer Service

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

An established business is looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an accounting or bookkeeping background who is interested in developing their career within a technology-focused environment.

You will receive structured training and ongoing development, combining your existing finance knowledge with customer support and financial software expertise.

• Respond to customer queries via telephone, email and online channels.

• Provide guidance on accounting and bookkeeping-related queries.

• Assist customers with using financial software.

• Deliver training and support to new and existing customers.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

• Work with internal teams to support system updates and new features.

• Accounting, finance or bookkeeping-related qualification or studies.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.

• Strong IT skills and an interest in technology.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Previous experience within a finance or customer-facing role would be advantageous.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Salary of £27,000 - £30,000 , depending on experience.

• Monday to Friday, 35-hour working week.

• Permanent position.

• Initial office-based training, with hybrid working available thereafter.
