Senior Facilities Manager

Senior Regional Facilities Manager – Residential Portfolio, Central London
 
We’re working with a global real estate investment company to appoint a Senior Regional Facilities Manager. The role leads facilities and engineering delivery across a large, expanding UK residential portfolio, including high-rise buildings. The client will also consider candidates from a commercial background.
 
This is a technical leadership role, and a strong engineering background/knowledge (mechanical and electrical or building services) is a key requirement.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Leading facilities management delivery across a multi-site residential portfolio, covering reactive, planned and capital works
• Providing technical oversight of critical plant, including BMS monitoring, audits and emergency escalation
• Implementing the statutory compliance strategy, including Fire, Life & Safety and the Building Safety Act
• Supporting the handover of new buildings, with defect-free commissioning and robust PPM frameworks
• Owning engineering and service charge budgets, and driving cost efficiency and energy savings
• Managing contractor procurement, and leading and developing a team of regional managers

 
What we’re looking for:

• A solid engineering background, with industry-recognised qualifications
• Extensive senior experience leading facilities or engineering teams across a large, complex residential portfolio
• Sound knowledge of the Building Safety Act and high-rise requirements
• Experience presenting at senior leadership level
