About the role
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and trustworthy Building Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing the school site as required;
- Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general DIY tasks;
- Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the school grounds;
- Monitoring health and safety across the site and reporting any issues;
- Carrying out and maintaining statutory checks and records;
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing works where necessary;
- Managing site security, including alarms and access;
- Supporting with setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role;
- Is practical, proactive, and takes pride in their work;
- Understands health and safety procedures;
- Can work independently and as part of a team;
- Is friendly, approachable and committed to supporting our school community.
