People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, Reach Truck Operator, FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Operator, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse FLT Driver, or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 09:00 – 17:00

Rates of Pay

 • £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Forklift Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

 • Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
 • Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
 • Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
 • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
 • Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
 • Organising stock for dispatch
 • Moving goods around the warehouse as required
 • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
 • Supporting general warehouse duties when required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Forklift Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

 • A valid accredited Reach Truck licence
 • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck
 • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
 • Strong spatial awareness
 • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
 • Good organisational skills
 • A reliable and self-motivated attitude
 • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
 • The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

 • Previous warehouse experience

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
