Senior Accounts Assistant

This position has been created to support the Sales Ledger Manager, day to day you’ll support a small team, but your main focus will be taking the lead on a new project.

The business is currently in the process of implementing a new system…A big part of your role will be working with the sales department but also deputise for the Sales Ledger Manager.

What they need is someone who is experienced in cashiering/sales ledger but also has the ambition to become a manager within the next few years…

Below is a small overview of the role;

• Lead the sales ledger team in the absence of the Sales Ledger Manager.
• Be the Sales Ledger project lead, in the role out of a new integrated payment solution throughout the group and become the subject matter expert on this new system.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for allocated expense codes.
• Receive, sort and log daily banking from sites.
• Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites.
• Reconcile cash suspense accounts.
• Review and distribute debtors for allocated sites (inc. liaising with sites to resolve overdue debts).
