Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Avonmouth
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: £35,767 - £41,583 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
Ensure timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
Follow all safety regulations, road traffic laws, and company policies.
Maintain good communication with the transport team and customers.
Adhere to all environmental and health & safety guidelines during loading, unloading, and transportation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
A clean driving record (preferred but not essential).
Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (preferred).
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Good time management and the ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work weekends and nights as required.
Strong commitment to safety and reliability on the road.
