Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer
 
Summary
Seeking expressions of interest for a potential upcoming project with starts expected towards the end of June. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior I&C Engineer to support design delivery of instrumentation and control systems for an onshore oil & gas facility.

Competitive day rates (outside IR35)
 
Location and Working Pattern
Woking, UK – Office-based, full-time 
 
Responsibilities

Prepare instrument lists, specifications, loop diagrams, and cable schedules
Develop cause-and-effect charts and participate in logic reviews
Support FAT/SAT activities, providing design clarifications
Ensure design compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Provide input for hazardous area classification and installation requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues

 
Must-have Requirements

Solid experience in instrumentation and control system design for oil & gas
Understanding of safety instrumented systems and SIL assessments
Competency with relevant I&C design tools and methodologies

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Experience delivering projects to Aramco standards (SAES) highly desirable
Vendor liaison experience for control system packages
