NPI Engineer

NPI / Manufacturing Engineer

We’re supporting a growing engineering business with the appointment of an NPI-focused engineer to support the introduction of new products into production.

This is a hands-on role working across development and manufacturing, helping ensure new products move into production in a controlled, efficient, and scalable way.

Key responsibilities:

• Support new product introduction activities from early builds through to release

• Assist with pilot builds and production readiness

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and documentation

• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance

• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities

• Support production ramp-up and early-stage manufacturing

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience in regulated or high-precision industries (e.g. electronics, automotive, aerospace)

• Exposure to new product introduction, production engineering, or process improvement

• Familiarity with structured problem-solving approaches

• Ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment
  
  Nice to have:

• Knowledge of complex assemblies

• Experience with SPC, PFMEA, or control plans

• Familiarity with CAD or manufacturing tooling concepts
