Technical SEO & Platform Lead, Lifestyle brand, London, comp. salary We're hiring a Technical SEO & Platform Lead to take full ownership of organic performance for a fast-growing international ecommerce business. Organic search drives real revenue here. This is not a reporting role. You own the systems. You'll be accountable for: Crawl efficiency & indexation quality Core Web Vitals stability SEO-safe releases Technical scalability If traffic drops due to a preventable issue, you fix it. What you'll do: Own indexation, canonical logic, faceting & pagination Improve and monitor Core Web Vitals across templates Analyse Googlebot behaviour (log files where available) Implement structured data properly Proactively monitor anomalies and regressions Work directly in Shopify (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS) Remove technical bloat and improve render performance Block risky releases when needed Non-negotiables: Proven ownership of technical SEO for a revenue ecommerce site Hands-on Shopify experience Confident editing Liquid, HTML, CSS & JavaScript Delivered measurable CWV improvements through code Strong understanding of JS rendering & SEO This is for someone who takes responsibility, moves fast, and prioritises stability over noise.
