Nursery Nurse – Burton
Zest Education is looking for a Nursery Nurse to join a warm and welcoming early years setting in Burton. This role begins in September 2026 and runs until the end of the half term, and it may lead to further work as the year continues.

This vibrant Burton nursery offers a lively, child-focused environment where children can explore, play and grow. Inside, bright rooms and engaging activity areas create an energetic atmosphere. Outside, a spacious learning space encourages hands-on discovery. The team works closely together, and they create a supportive setting that promotes high-quality early years learning.
The Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you will support children aged 0–5 throughout their daily routines. You will plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities, and you will help create a safe and inspiring space. In addition, you will build strong relationships with children, parents and staff. You will also contribute to observations while following EYFS guidelines, and you will work closely with the wider team to help every child feel confident and supported.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a great fit if you:

Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)

Bring experience working with young children

Understand the EYFS framework

Show enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach

Communicate clearly and work well with others

Adapt quickly to each child’s needs and stay proactive throughout the day

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
