Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Location: Hither Green, South East London
Salary: Up to £28,500 (dependent on experience)

Joneshouse is recruiting for a well-managed, friendly private day nursery in South East London. We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our established and supportive team.

This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who enjoys working in a small nursery setting and is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS

• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and daily routines

• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a Level 2 childcare qualification

• Have a good understanding of the EYFS and how to apply it in practice

• Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within a childcare setting

• Be passionate, caring, and empathetic when working with children

• Have experience of Ofsted inspections (desirable but not essential)

• Be confident working within an established nursery environment
