Warehouse Loader / Unloader – Leicester

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Loaders and Unloaders to join our well-established client based across Leicester. Positions are available from 23rd July. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent weekday hours, weekly pay, and the chance to work within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Loader, Unloader, Warehouse Assistant, Goods In Operative, Logistics Operative, Production Operative, or General Operative.

Shifts

•  Morning Shift
•  08:00 – 16:00

Rates of Pay

•  £12.71 per hour
•  Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Loader / Unloader, your duties will include:

•  Loading stock in an organised and safe manner
•  Unloading incoming deliveries
•  Carrying out visual quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
•  Receiving and unpacking deliveries
•  Checking deliveries against stock lists
•  Transporting stock to the correct departments or storage areas
•  Conducting stock counts and maintaining accurate records
•  Sorting and organising warehouse stock
•  Assisting with general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties
•  Completing any other duties as directed by the management team

Essential Skills

As a Warehouse Loader / Unloader, you will need:

•  Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling duties
•  A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of warehouse tasks
•  Basic literacy and numeracy skills
•  Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
•  Previous experience in loading and unloading goods

Desirable Experience

•  Previous warehouse or logistics experience would be beneficial.

Training Provided

•  Ongoing support throughout your assignment
