Role: Fire and Security Technical Helpdesk Manager
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fire and Security Technician or Senior Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading fire and security company in a head office-based technical support role, providing expert guidance to field engineers and customers to ensure timely and effective resolutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage a new technical helpdesk service to support field engineers and customers.
Monitor and analyse technical support metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide technical support to the customer service team and technical helpdesk.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are up to date with the latest technologies.
Manage and monitor cloud-based systems and remote maintenance platforms.
Support operations with bench testing of new products and equipment.
Participate in technical reviews, audits, and management meetings.

Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 8 years’ experience within the fire and security industry.
Proven experience as a Senior Multi-Skilled Technician or similar technical role.
Strong technical understanding of fire and security systems, including installation, configuration, and fault-finding.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
