About the role
Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer (Service Technician)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: From £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position working in Sheffield? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be expected to service, maintain, and fault-find on fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial sites, ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant. You will be working for an established fire and security company supporting service contracts across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
● Carry out fault finding and minor repairs across multiple systems
● Complete planned preventative maintenance visits
● Ensure service reports and paperwork are completed accurately
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience servicing fire alarm and electronic security systems
● Strong fault-finding ability across both disciplines
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● FIA qualifications beneficial
