The Role

As a Team Member, you’ll help customers enjoy a quick, friendly and reliable experience throughout the day. You’ll prepare Greggs products, serve customers and help keep the shop clean, organised and ready for business.

The exact mix of tasks will depend on your shop and shift. You may support customers ordering at the counter, prepare online and collection orders or help maintain stock and presentation standards.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers and providing fast, friendly service.
• Preparing and presenting Greggs food and drink products.
• Supporting customers ordering in the shop, online, through delivery services or via Click + Collect.
• Processing customer orders and payments accurately.
• Replenishing products and keeping displays well stocked.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming shop environment.
• Following food hygiene, safety and operational procedures.
• Working closely with colleagues during busy trading periods.
