Store Manager – Hemel Hempstead

Are you a natural leader with a passion for people, pets, and retail? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Store Manager to inspire and lead our fantastic team in Hemel Hempstead.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and driving the overall success of the store. Working closely with your Area Manager, you’ll create a positive, high-performing environment where both people and pets are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading, motivating, and developing your team to create a welcoming, customer-focused store experience.
• Driving sales performance by achieving targets and exceeding key KPIs.
• Taking full ownership of recruitment, training, stock management, and store standards.
• Leading from the front – setting clear expectations, building team spirit, and maintaining a culture of excellence.
• Ensuring the store is always well-presented, well-stocked, and delivering outstanding service.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous management experience in a retail environment.
• Passionate about retail and delivering exceptional results.
• Flexible to work shifts
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and inspire your team.
• Able to commit to a robust training schedule, covering customer service, health and safety, and pet care.
