About the role
Hours 1-2 days/week on-site (negotiable) 37hr/week Day to Day Monitor capital budgets, expenditure and forecasts. Prepare capital budget monitoring reports. Support year-end accounts and audit processes. Maintain the fixed asset register and capital financing records. Work with budget holders to investigate variances and resolve financial issues. Requirements (qualifications/experience) Experience in capital accounting, ideally within local government. Knowledge of capital expenditure, fixed assets and capital financing. Strong Excel and financial reporting skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
