Site Engineer

OCS are currently working with a 100m+ turnover RC Frame & Groundworks subcontractor who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with 3 experienced Site Engineers across London. This is a great opportunity for Site Engineers who have a solid background in setting out on RC Frame/ Groundworks projects and are looking to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline of work. The Role As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting the site team with all engineering and setting-out requirements, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Managers and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered accurately and to programme. Key responsibilities include: Setting out RC Frame and/or Groundworks packages Establishing and maintaining site control Checking drawings, specifications and levels Producing and maintaining accurate site records Quality checking works and ensuring they meet project requirements Working closely with Site Managers and the wider project team Assisting with technical queries and resolving engineering issues on site Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements To be considered, you must have: Minimum 2 years' Site Engineering / Setting Out experience Proven experience working on RC Frame and/or Groundworks projects An Engineering Degree Strong setting-out experience Good understanding of construction drawings, levels and specifications Strong communication and organisational skills The ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team Why Consider It?
