Payroll Assistant

As a Payroll Assistant in Sunderland, you will help keep payroll records accurate and up to date within the FMCG sector. You will work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure day-to-day payroll tasks are completed smoothly during this temporary assignment.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and update employee information when required.
• Process payroll data in line with agreed schedules and internal procedures.
• Check payroll information for accuracy before it is submitted for payment.
• Respond to routine payroll queries and provide clear information to employees.
• Work with the Accounting & Finance department to resolve data discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll documents and reports for internal use.
• Keep payroll files organised and maintain confidentiality when handling employee data.
