Looking for a steady, long‑term plumbing role with regular hours, good pay and no travelling between sites? This is a permanent on‑site plumber role at HMP Full Sutton, working as part of a close‑knit facilities team.

The role
You’ll be carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the prison site, including:

General plumbing repairs and maintenance
Mains water supply repairs
Fault finding and fixing issues first time
Inspections, water sampling and basic risk assessments
Identifying and replacing life‑expired equipment
This is a hands‑on trade role, not desk‑based, and you’ll have the time and support to do the job properly.

Working hours
39 hours per week
Rota between:08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00 – 16:00 Friday to Sunday
1 in 3 weekends, paid with an additional 15% allowance

What you’ll need
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
Experience in plumbing maintenance (commercial environment preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Legionella awareness (desirable, not essential)
Able to work safely and follow procedures in a secure environment
