About the role
Work Pattern: Hybrid working , 37 hours per week
PAYE Pay Rate: £13.48 per hour
Main Purpose:
To review and improve procurement processes and procedures across the Ardal collaborative procurement service, ensuring they are efficient, consistent and compliant with legislation and council policies.
Typical Day
- Review and analyse procurement processes and data.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate meetings, projects and stakeholder activities.
- Develop guidance, procedures and online resources.
- Support SharePoint/system development.
- Help deliver training and learning activities.
- Provide administrative and senior management support.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Business/process analysis and improvement.
- Procurement process knowledge.
- Project coordination and stakeholder management.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- SharePoint or similar systems experience.
- Strong organisation and administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience creating guidance, training or user resources.
Essential Requirements
- Business Analysis or process improvement experience.
- Experience analysing data, information and processes.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with SharePoint or similar systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Public-sector/local government or procurement experience is desirable.
