Proposals Engineer

Our client is experiencing rapid growth and continued success, and they are expanding their team. We’re on the lookout for an additional Proposals Engineer to join one of the industry's fastest-growing companies worldwide—an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of costings for both new and existing customers.
- Review and process Purchase Order Requisitions from customers.
- Develop and refine estimates from client enquiry packages for pricing approval by the Proposals Manager.
- Analyse client specifications and prepare accurate quotations.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing departments to compile bid documents.
- Facilitate communication between departments and suppliers.
- Uphold safety standards in all work activities in line with the clients procedures.
- Review and assess client requests for proposals (RFPs) and project requirements.
- Work alongside engineering, sales, project management, and other teams to gather necessary information for proposal creation.
- Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including scope, cost estimates, schedules, and project plans.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to company policies, client needs, and industry standards.
- Present proposals and related documents to clients when required.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and technical advancements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotations and technical details.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Experience:
- Experience in estimating and/or sales is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings is essential.
- A solid understanding of welding, fabrication, and stainless alloys is a distinct advantage.
