Job description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering enterprise-grade data solutions that enable the College to make better use of its data. Working closely with technical teams, architects and senior stakeholders, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines, develop modern data platforms and help ensure data is accessible, trusted and reusable across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how data is managed and used, supporting analytics, reporting and evidence-based decision-making while contributing to the College's wider digital and data transformation ambitions​.

Person specification

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • D​​esigning and delivering scalable data pipelines and integration solutions
  • ​​Improving data quality, automation and platform performance​
  • Working with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and business-focused data solutions

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • ​​Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines and platforms
  • Strong technical skills, including data integration technologies
  • ​​Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills​
