MRICS Development Surveyor

Clifton Gray is working with a prominent UK based property development firm who have an exceptional reputation for delivering medium to large mixed-use schemes. Due to a sustained period of growth and a strong pipeline of work, the firm is looking to strengthen the team with several key senior hires, including a Chartered Development Surveyor (equivalent to Senior or Associate level) that will contribute to the growth and development of the overall business.

This role will suit a chartered development surveyor wanting to put their stamp on a highly reputable business and utilise their solid network of industry contacts within areas such as commercial property agency, architecture, project management etc.

As the firm’s development surveyor, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating development sites and conducting research to ensure informed decisions are made. You will appraise opportunities from a financial standpoint and will provide reports/analysis/scenario modelling to aid such decisions on new site acquisitions and development opportunities. Working closely with the firm’s planner you will secure planning consents on the site/land that you have acquired and will then be responsible for ensuring successful delivery throughout the construction phase. This role really does enable you to become an integral member of a highly successful and well-respected team of property professionals.
