Cold Room / Refrigeration Installation Engineer Location: Midlands & surrounding areas Salary: £20 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate Guaranteed 50 hours per week | Company van and fuel card | No standby The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Cold Room / Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join an established business specialising in commercial cold rooms, coldstores and refrigeration solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installation engineer looking for consistent hours, guaranteed earnings and a role focused on installation work rather than reactive maintenance or standby callouts. The company is also happy to consider recruiting an installation team. If you have a mate or labourer you have worked with previously, there may be an opportunity for you both to join together. Alternatively, a suitable mate can be provided to work alongside the successful engineer. The Role Installing commercial cold rooms, walk-in chillers and freezer rooms across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Assembling and fitting insulated cold room panels, doors and associated components. Carrying out refrigeration installation work in line with your experience and qualifications. Working from installation plans and project specifications. Ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working alongside a mate or labourer to complete installations and assist with general fitting duties. Travelling to customer sites as required. What We're Looking For Previous experience in cold room, coldstore or commercial refrigeration installation. Experience fitting insulated panels, cold room doors and associated equipment. A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of an installation team. A full UK driving licence. A reliable and professional attitude when working on customer sites. Candidates with a commercial refrigeration background who have installation experience will also be considered.x Installation Mate / Labourer: Candidates with experience assisting refrigeration or cold room installation engineers are also encouraged to apply. What's on Offer? £20 per hour, with flexibility for the right candidate. Guaranteed 50 hours per week - 10 hours per day, paid even if the full hours are not worked. 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. Company van. Fuel card. No standby rota.
