Year 1 Primary Teacher - Bexley - January 2027Location: Bexley, South East LondonStart Date: January 2027Salary: £170-£240 per dayContract: Full-time, long-term opportunitiesHours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:15am-3:45pmAre you a creative and enthusiastic KS1 teacher looking for a new opportunity in January?Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified primary teachers interested in Year 1 teaching positions across Bexley.We are looking for teachers who can help children build confidence and develop their foundational skills as they progress from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1.Key responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 1 National Curriculum.Teach systematic synthetic phonics and support early reading development.Use practical and creative activities to build literacy and numeracy skills.Differentiate learning for pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.Create a supportive and structured classroom environment.Monitor attainment and work collaboratively with support staff.The ideal candidate will have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience in KS1 or EYFS.Strong knowledge of early reading and phonics.Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.A genuine passion for helping young learners develop.Experience with phonics schemes such as Little Wandle or Read Write Inc. would be beneficial.Both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.Interested in starting something new in January 2027?Apply with your CV to discuss upcoming primary teaching opportunities across Bexley.
