Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative/Transport Planner with a Counterbalance Forklift License to join a busy operation based in Andover.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for full-time, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The successful candidate will be working in a role contains both working from a desk with IT systems to assist with route planning, as well as carrying out general warehouse duties, inclusive of order picking.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Picking and preparing loads ready for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Assisting with route planning and delivery organisation.
- Using computer systems to manage and update delivery routes.
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence - essential.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or FLT driving role.
- Confident using computer systems.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
