Flourish Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Atherstone to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you’ll take full responsibility for your class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through this important stage of their education. You’ll play a key role in preparing them for their SATs and ensuring they feel confident and ready for the transition to secondary school.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Take full class teacher responsibility, including planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2.

• Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils for their end-of-year assessments and SATs.

• Provide constructive feedback to support pupils’ academic development.

• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff.

• Create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

We’re looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have experience working as a Primary Teacher in a UK primary school.

• Have previous experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2.

• Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.

• Have experience preparing pupils for SATs.

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
