Risk & Business Analyst

We are a fast-growing iGaming startup, building innovative gaming solutions while ensuring responsible and sustainable growth. As part of our scaling operations, we are looking for a Risk & Business Analyst to provide daily insights into business performance and manage operational risk.

Role Overview

The Risk & Business Analyst will be responsible for producing daily business figures, analyzing risk exposure, and highlighting operational issues that impact performance. This role is key to supporting management with accurate insights for decision-making, monitoring player and bet exposure, and ensuring the company proactively manages risks associated with downtime, deposits, and betting activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and prepare daily business performance reports (bets, deposits, withdrawals, revenues).

• Provide insights and commentary to management on trends, anomalies, and risks.

• Check client exposure on bets to identify potential liabilities and mitigate risk.

• Track and report on the impact of platform downtimes or service disruptions.

• Analyze periods of reduced deposits or unusual activity and recommend actions.

• Develop and maintain dashboards for management visibility of key metrics.

• Liaise with finance, operations, and compliance to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.

• 2–4 years’ experience in risk, data, or financial analysis (iGaming, fintech, or betting industry preferred).

• Strong skills in Excel and SQL; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) an advantage.

• Understanding of betting markets, exposure management, and customer behavior in iGaming.

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to management.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
