Van Driver – Nuneaton

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after just six weeks.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as either a Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver and Delivery Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.76 per hour
• £19.68 per hour after 48 hours worked

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Saturday
• 06:00 start times
• Saturday shifts are shorter than weekday shifts

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Van Driver, you will work:

• Delivering small parcels within a designated delivery area
• Completing approximately 30-40 deliveries per day
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic records where required
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences
• No DD, DR or IN endorsement codes
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable and professional approach to work
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
